The SIBM Executive MBA prepares the executive to excel and move forward at this particular juncture in his career. The executive MBA programme is conducted as evening classes to enable corporates to give undivided attention to their studies and also to their work.

Course Objective

• Increase the business skills and leadership capabilities of managers
• Improve the capacity of strategic decision making, to think faster and more creatively
• Deepen understanding of organizational dynamics to improve the design and implementation of new initiatives
• Build capabilities for leading cross-border teams across functions
• Develop knowledge in core areas of business including finance, marketing, management and strategy, based on current research and practices.

Eligibility for Admission

A student seeking admission to the course must possess a Bachelor’s Degree of any Statutory University or any other recognized Foreign University with five years of post qualification work experience.

Selection:

The selection of the students shall be on the basis of an entrance test and personal interview.

Total 60 (Open 30/Company Sponsored 30)

Criteria of eligibility under Company Sponsored Category:

Apart from the basic eligibility criteria, the candidate must be working in the sponsor company at the time of admission. He/she has to furnish proof of his/her sponsorship in the form of a letter by the CEO or MD of the organization. For the entire duration of the course the candidate has to have a working status. Admission is given on the understanding that the same will be terminated if the student discontinues his services with the sponsor company.

SIBM reserves to right to give preferential admission to candidates sponsored by those companies which have a business relationship with SIBM and have a turnover of over Rs. 5 crores.

Course Structure:

The program structure consists of 4 semesters of classroom learning.

Students will also be required to complete a Research Project in any functional area of their choice within a period of 6 months after completion of 4th Semester. They would be required to submit a Project Report on the same.
