Our Mission is to make SIBM an integral part of the life of each and every alumnus.

Our Objectives include:

• Ensuring that our alumni feel a sense of belonging to the alma mater
• Ensuring that the alumni community is well connected
• Establishing and sustaining a link between the alumni and the current students
• Creating a culture of participation so that students outside the team can also contribute to its objectives
  

TEAM ACTIVITIES

• Facilitating interaction amongst Alumni by conducting alumni meets and reunions at various national and international venues
• Updating and involving Alumni constantly regarding events conducted at the institute
• Facilitating career growth by intimating alumni about placement opportunities in various organizations
• A Knowledge Services initiative enabling them in their personal learning and professional enhancement through regular updates from the circulation of Policy Notes and by conducting Management Development Programs
• Facilitating interaction between alumni and current students.

TEAM ACHIEVEMENTS

• The Alumni section of the SIBM website conceived and launched.
• Silver Jubilee Celebrations of the batch of 1982 held on 4th March, 2006.
• Management Development Program conducted by Prof. C. P. Bhatta (IIM Kolkata) held on 3rd & 4th February, 2006
• Reunion of the 1981, 1982 & 1983 batches held on 28th August, 2004 on campus.
• First ever International Meet in Dubai held on 12th August, 2004 followed by an Alumni Dinner at Singapore
